Stagecoach Inn, Salado

Built in 1861, this storied inn along Salado Creek was once a stagecoach stop on the Chisholm Trail. It’s a 6-minute walk from the historic village of Salado, with its many shops, art galleries and restaurants. The Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed Mill Creek Golf Club is 2.4 miles away.

The inn’s simple guestrooms have updated baths and coffeemakers; suites are also available.
